-Twice as many demons as the original.
-You are allowed two demons out at a time in battle.
-Demon negotiation returns from past SMT games. (in pratica il Talk System di Persona 2 e SMT3)
-You still get a demon to follow you on the map screen to help in your investigation.
-The game still uses pre-rendered backgrounds, but the battles seem to to have a mobile camera.
-The game takes place in 1935, placing Raidou in his thirties and Japan at a state of war. (The wartime Japanese flag can be seen hanging above the Tokyo streets.)
-The game is said to be much larger than the original, likely to address people's complaints about the length.
-The developers claim it is as if it were "the third game in a series, that's how much we've improved the gameplay,"
-There's something about MAG being consumed as you use special moves, and it being restored when you hit enemy weaknesses. This is likely another attempt at translating the press-turn system into an ARPG. (In the original, enemies were stunned after getting hit with a weakness, as if you were granted another turn).
-Locations from the original return. Screenshots show Narumi's office, the nameless shrine, and some streets of Tokyo.
-One of the new locations is a distant village in the countryside.

Yup, that's Lucifer! Especially since they named/titled him "Blonde Haired Young Man" a'la as the same naming scheme they gave to each Lucifer in SMT 3.

So far we've had an adult Lucifer (Louis Cypher SMT 1 & 2), a child Lucifer and caretaker (SMT 3), an elderly Lucifer and caretaker (also SMT 3), an angel Lucifer (fight-able in SMT 2), and demon Lucifer (fight-able in SMT 3), and now a young man version of Lucifer.

Though I find it pretty interesting that this will be the first time Lucifer shows up in a non-Shin Megami Tensei game. Though I'm guessing Raidou's appearance in SMT 3 Nocturne Maniacs Chronicle Edition, is in part to his dealings with Lucifer in this game. Just like how old man Lucifer in SMT 3 summoned Dante from his world.

Some other interesting facts are the child/adult/elderly Lucifers all wear the same orange ring with the pentagram in it, but we can't tell if this newest Lucifer follows suit yet, since he's wearing gloves...

I'm really interested to see what young man Lucifer has in store for Raidou, not to mention I'm super stoked to play this game (I loved the first one!)

Ne può esistere solo uno di Kuzunoha ... è lui l'unico successore che si interpone fra i demoni e gli umani...

Ma non è proprio così. :0 In Soul Hackers l'eroe è un tipo totalmente separato dai Kuzunoha. Kyōji Kuzunoha fa giusto un'apparizione con Rei Reihō (entrambi provenienti dal primo Devil Summoner) per darti una mano, ma il resto lo fanno tutto il protagonista muto e Hitomi/Nemissa.
L'unico Kuzunoha che fa un casino pazzesco è Raidō.
