The man who whispers to Magalli (directed by Robert Francis Ford Focus, with the collaboration of Giancarlo Magalli)
Plot
Based on a history of little daily false is the epic of a man forced to make the hunchback human Piazza Grande. Quasimodo (played by Giancarlo Magalli changed to resemble the crippled computer GRAFCO of 300) living in the dark for almost sixty years of the masses, few know of its existence and of what his feverish desire to live and passion for writing in Braille has conditioned the genius Magalli. As it turns out dramatically in the course of the film every pearl of wisdom from outgoing teacher is just a suggestion specially prepared by hunchback Quasimodo. Disgusted by most of his relatives who gives him fruit juice expired and irons are no longer under warranty, betrayed by his wife Esmeralda (who is actually a cartoon), who is in bed with a goat paralytic phlebitis (his great childhood friend), Quasimodo can not find help under the wise guidance of pastry (Giancarlo Magalli amended in computer graphics to resemble the icon of the collective "the little man of gingerbread"), his imaginary friend who will guide him karmiko on a trip to the moon to recover the lost self-esteem.
The epic ends in a masterful sequence in which the helmet of the suit of Quasimodo proves defective, an anomaly that will cause death by asphyxiation and that her head will explode. This is indeed a mental journey thus the explosion as the death are actually the result of a suicide psychosomatic due to the inability to withstand the subconscious life. All accompanied by eloquent laugh track.
Comments
Behind the film almost biblical antithesis between the hunchback and the presence of human suggested that not only shines with reflected light without anyone knowing, Magalli - whose presence is only suggestive, never clear, giving her a figure 'aura unnamed Manzoni. The contrast is even greater with the emergence of pastry, a new alter ego of Quasimodo who actually embodies all the qualities that the mass seen in Magalli both idolized and who should in fact belong to the same Quasimodo, which is the alter ego . The moment of highest excitement, though, came the explosion of the head when he reveals that in fact the same as Quasimodo and Magalli pastry and that in reality everything is nothing but un'autoesaltazione the figure of the mythical attraerso contempt by perpetutato deceit and compassion for the poor hunchback until the revelation that the triptych Magalli Quasimodo pastry is in fact an indivisible unity is undeniable.
(But this I tell you otherwise you spoil the ending)
